Availability

Designing for availability is about anticipating, detecting, and resolving hardware/software failures before they result in service errors or event faults— thereby minimizing downtime. Availability of a system over its life-cycle is typically measured as a factor of its reliability. RAM approach in LPS, involve processes designed to optimize availability under a set of constraints, such as time and cost-effectiveness. Availability is the goal of most end-users, and LPS assure that system availability performances are presented correctly based on materiel and operational availability.  Our analysis on Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic systems including COTS items.
